Anthracite Wheels care

Any here running Anthracite wheels? Looking to see if anyone is taking extra precaution when cleaning them.

I’d do whatever manufacturer says for care. If they don’t have anything listed verify what material they’re constructed of and use that. DetailedImage.com is a great site for any and all auto detailing needs.

Fuels website states “mild dish soap”.

I used detailer to clean off my wheels, and then i followed up with 303 Touchless sealant, its really holding up well this winter.

This time it was griots speed shine, i planned to clay bar them before sealing but ran out of clay. Next time.

What are you using before that as a cleaner?

Any mild soap should do. TO be completely honest i used a rag and after washing my car at the self service bay i got in there with a detail brush and cleaned them up and wiped them down, and then took it home to do the final detailing process. Ideally i would like to use a ph neutral soap, but i would be concerned that it wouldn’t get the road grime off. The speed shine did an excellent job. I would imagine you could use a detox like the mothers cmx surface prep to remove the remaining road contaminants. I used the cmx on my vehicle and it was excellent.
