And I'm saying adding the antenna doesn't really increase the price, not enough for it to matter anyway. The last $200 windshield job I had done was on a GMT800 platform SUV. The next cheapest windshield replacement I've ever had was my Renegade at $265 for the generic glass. I doubt the antenna adds more than $50 to the cost. It's nothing special at all.
I used to own several service and auto body businesses and from my experience anything you add to the glass adds money to the actual windshield and then labor to attach the sensors.

I just hit up Safelite for a quote...

First quote is without adaptive cruise control on my 2021 - $300

Second is with adaptive cruise control on a 2021 for apples to apples with 2024 - $800

Last is 2024 with adaptive curise control - $1600!

Got this idea from a member on here looking through the antennae threads. I used some heat shrink tubing to wrap my antennae black. Looks better and now it won’t scratch my a pillar or crack the window. I used 1/4” shrink tube but if I did it again I’d go smaller. It’s tight at the bottom but could have been tighter toward the upper 1/3

Thanks for post OP I had seen this before but forgot about it lol.
I was able to get 3/16 shrink tube started over the top once started it pulled down rather easy.
I used 3/8 marine shrink tube on the bottom thinking it would seal to the upper shrink tube. It worked out well. If I find it necessary to remove the 3/8 at the bottom I'll face it then.
