Android Auto - Screen Flicker with Waze?

Anyone else have issues with a slight flicker or occasional glitch on the uConnect screen when using Waze on Android Auto? It seems to have started after the last major Android update, though I can't seem to locate a fix.

If you've seen this and overcome it, please share what you've done.
