I think this may have been asked dozens of times but I havent found the information I was looking for, or I skipped over it so please delete if this is all duplicate information
I have a 2018 JL and wanted to program a new key fob. Jscan isn't able to do it but I heard good things about AlfaOBD? I have a bluetooth OBD reader and SGW cable. Can AlfaOBD or any non dealership hardware/software read the 6 digit pin AND program a fob? I got my pin from the dealership but it's only a 4 digit pin and not even used to program the fob, not even sure what the pin is used for. I like to tinker with stuff like this so I wouldn't mind spending $$ on something useful, anything to keep me from giving money to the stealerships
