Jeep Cares did get back to me to confirm that only a small handful of trails are free and none really near me are free.

I do not mind paying $30 for a yearly subscription to check it all out....HOWEVER due to all the issues I had getting this app plus the Trails Recording app to download I AM HIGH SKEPTICAL that buying a subscription would download perfectly onto my new 2024 UConnect system.

WHO has SUBSCRIBED to ADVENTURE TRAILS APP on UConnect and how long did the download take?
What ISSUES did you have with the SUBSCRIPTION DOWN LOAD?

Thanks!

I will say that I mailed the trails offroad people and said I had a subscription. They then gave me full access to their website, which is available via apple car play.

A great many of us are still waiting to get Adventure Guides as a stand alone app that was promised to us during the Summer of 2023. Only available as an iPhone app... but still not built into Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
so it is not actually located on the apps of the 2024 rubicons? this is something that has to be on your iphone? thanks.

This is all the way back to February 2024. Since then "Adventure Guides" is in the Off Road Section on your Jeep screen. No separate App or any iPhone app needed. Built right into your Jeep Off Road pages

You need to get to the dashboard and it should be under there. If for some reason it does not show up... do a soft reset. If that doesn't work, use the button for Jeep to call Uconnect and they should get it downloaded for you in under 24 hours. The pictures are nit in order but it should help.

just to update. I contacted jeepcares and turns out you have to have factory navigation which I don't have.

Question for all of you that have had to to a hard reset to get the Adventure Guides to show up on your Infotainment screen.

When you do the hard reset, do you lose EVERY custom setting that's been selected, or just the AM/FM/XM settings?

I contacted FCA Customer Care a few days ago and they said that they were sending a work order request to the whoever sends out the OTA updates and that I needed to go for an hour drive the next day in order for the update to download. They verified that I have an active "free trial subscription and they were going to credit my account for the 7 months that I've been unable to access the app.

So the next day I took a 90 minute drive. When I got home & checked, there was nothing new on the screen. I got a call from them after I got back from the drive, and now they are telling me that I have to put the app on my phone and access it via Android Auto and not via the head unit.......I'm calling BS on that.

Back to the original question.....it worth doing the reset & will I lose all the custom settings???
