Adding OEM Off-road lights

I am considering adding some off-road lights on my JLR. I like the MOPAR 5" ones for the JL, but I don't like the close to $500 price with shipping that they are. In my search I discovered these the OEM lights for the JK. The wiring seems pretty straight forward like the ones for the JL. Does anyone see any reason why these could not be wired to the OEM auxiliary switches on a JL? They are almost half the price of the JL ones.

If you are going the Mopar route, I'd look at LED Pod lights on Amazon... They are inexpensive and probably as good as the Mopar ones... You have a hot & a ground wire, that's it for lights.


I've been using these for over a year, they work fantastic for the inexpensive price. They are quite bright although I've never compared them to the KC lights, etc.

I seriously cannot fathom how a few thousand lumens of light can be several hundred dollars in 2022.

mount a couple of these to the hood with a charging cable. Bonus is you can just take it off and use it when needed.
