Colorado 7" radio, bezel and 4 digit security code

Came out of my 2018 which I replaced with an 8.4" I bought from another forum member. The radio works fine with the normal Uconnect quirks.

If you look very closely at the pictures there are very fine swirl marks on the screen. I literally never noticed until I took it out and had it in the light in my kitchen. I suspect I wiped the screen off with a used towel or something. Never noticed in the vehicle.

$400 local. $420 shipped. Boxed and ready to go.

Could you pull security directly before removing or did you have to contact dealer with your VIN? TIA

it should be completely plug and play. When you power it on the first time it will prompt you to enter the 4 digit security code then you’re good to go. It typically takes a few power cycles for the radio to recognize your options if you have things like heated seats.

Thanks. I am thinking about swapping also and was curious if I can pull the security code myself to provide with sale or do I need to get from a dealership utilizing my VIN? Thanks

before you can sell you will need to get the 4 digit security code from your dealer but that’s all that is needed. Dont let sites like Infotainment trick you that you need to take it to the dealer.
