35 spline chromoly shafts question

I would like to upgrade to Yukon's 35 spline chromoly rear axle shafts but I don't know if they will fit in my JLUR Dana 44 axle housing. For all of you who did this upgrade. Did you need to change your axle housing to a Dana 60. Or will the Rubicon d44 housings work?

Okay so you can get a 35 spline axle for a Dana 44 that's not a problem but understand that it's not the axle housing it's your actual differential that is the problem. The factory axles and lockers are 32 spline so if you want to put 35 spline axles in you have to replace your factory lockers. The axle housing itself has nothing to do with how many splines are on the axle shafts.

Make sure when you're buying parts that while they say Dana 44 make sure their m220 compatible. Technically the axles and the JL wranglers are the new advantech and therefore the front axle would be m210 and the rear axle would be m220 standard old Dana 44 parts won't fit.

Thank you. I am looking into changing the carrier with an Eaton elocker 14313. I just wasn't sure if that will fit in the stock D44 rubicon acle housing.

I think most would prefer the Revolution Gear cromoly Axles of the Yukons. I could be wrong, But i just installed the Revolutions in the rear. I hear Yukon has some quality issues recently
