moved D1 in late July and estimated ship date has now moved from 8/22 to 9/11.
Having an estimated ship date is a definite positive in the process. Glad to see this for you. Those early orders (April/May) have been brutal.

Rumor mill says Rubicon X and 392 wheels are in short supply which is why there was a lot of people that regressed recently. Can anyone confirm this?

Hot diggity!

After checking with my dealer yesterday (see quoted post above) I checked the tracker today at about noon and found that my status has changed to E with an estimated arrival date of 9/14. I was in D1 status for 35 days.

I assume the estimated shipping date is still 8/30, but my tracker doesn't show that info. So, my numbers are now as follows:

C = 7/11
D1 = 7/21
E = 8/25
Estimated ship date = 8/30 (assumed)
Estimated arrival date = 9/14

I hope the 9/14 estimated arrival date isn't a bad omen.

Well, things appear to be moving faster now. The dealership sent me an e-mail this morning to notify me that I'm now in KZ status (Vehicle Built). It took just four days to go from E to KZ. The build sheet is now available, but I don't see a window sticker yet. I hope the looming strike didn't distract the assembly line workers while they were building my jeep!

I saw that and one about a part for the lift that is causing issues. My dealer e-mailed me this morning and just said that none of the Rubicons are getting made. He actually sounded frustrated that they have only gotten one 2024 2-door Wrangler since June. That one sold and they have one remaining '23 Sport on the lot. He said they really need a delivery.

Yep I went by Faricy boys and holy crap they have a few!!! I actually got to sit in some 24's and I'm happy I ordered a 24 (just wish it would come in). but due to the emissions crap/CARB stuff Colorado dealers are only getting in 4xE's unless its a sport or a sold order.
This is the same in San Diego, except all the dealers are getting are the 4xe versions.

Aye, most dealers are only getting 4xe's in now. ICE are custom order only now
Definitely not most dealers.
Dealers in 14 states with more to follow eventually. Not most.

This is what I meant. I was replying to someone saying in San Diego. And for what it's worth a majority of the US population lives in those states. If you're in cali your only option of finding one on a lot is driving 10+ hours east.

I live in the Phoenix area and have a Rubicon X on order with Rob @ Tuttle Click in Orange County, CA. It's a 377 mile drive from the dealer back home.

I plan on driving it as much as possible over a three day weekend in OC and around LA/Santa Monica, etc before driving back to Phoenix. I'm hoping to put as many miles on it using the break-in procedure before getting on I-10 and heading east. I too plan on owning my Rubicon for many years and want to do what I can to help extend its useful life.

I tried to place an order with Airpark back in late April. They wouldn't budge off MSRP. It's a shame, they are nine minutes from me and would have made it really easy to pick up and drive home.
When did you order your Rubi X? I order one on the 8/25 from there. With Ray

Which "there" are you referring to? I mentioned two different dealers in my reply. Since you're in SoCal, I assume you mean Tuttle Click in OC?

I ordered on August 9th from Rob @ Tuttle Click for 4% under invoice. My wife and I plan to fly into John Wayne once the Jeep is ready for pick-up. Currently waiting on D1 status at 19 days.

Earlier in the year I ordered a custom Rubicon on April 27th that I'm not going to take delivery on (its still waiting on D1 status at 124 days). That Phoenix area dealer was 2% under and after a conversation with the sales manager in July made me question how the rest of the sale might go.

Where did you see the info about the lift?

Take this with a grain of salt, but the Jeep site says there are currently over 40 Rubi Xs being built. Talked to my dealer on the phone today and both him and his manager are baffled. They've currently got 11 on order for customers and no movement at all. The oldest dates back to May, although one of you scallywags just got yours recently from the same dealer.

Since my data-driven curiosity is killing me, I think I'm going to spend the afternoon writing a script to pull that data from the jeep site with a focus on trim level and engine. From there I may just graph it out to see if there's anything telling from that data.

Yes I ordered it from Tuttle Click. Are they good on contacting you for any updates or do you contact them yourself?
