New here! Order confirmed August 7th, Anvil Rubicon X, 4:88 gears. Was told by the dealer it will be roughly 3 -6 months for delivery. Although they have been receiving them in around 3 months on average.
looks like I’m in for a wait.
Congrats! My order was confirmed July 11th for my Rubi X build…same as yours, anvil with 4.88’s. Hopefully it moves to D1 soon!

Looks like Bolivar Peninsula. I'm probably going to pick up mine from Mark Dodge in about 4 weeks and bring it back to San Antonio. How long did it take after shipped till you picked it up?
My order is scheduled to arrive at mark Dodge by Oct 2. I’m also in San Antonio. May be I’ll see you there!

Btw ancira Jeep called me today and said my orig order arrived. I didn’t want it anymore when I found out mark Dodge was much lower price. Ancira refused to match or even come close.

The ancira order took exactly 3 months for Rubi-x. They seemed happy I didn’t want it and already had someone else lined up for more $$$. Really disappointed with ancira since they advertise on Joe pags they have the lowest price but were $4000 more than mark Dodge.

I really hope so! Hard skipping out on several overland trips while waiting.

How many miles have your Jeeps had when you first get to the dealer to see them? Mine had 12 on it when they called me to come and get it.

I feel like that's pretty normal. They usually drive them for a short while to do some quick tests and ensure things appear in order. I see a whole lot of 10s in photos.

They only have enough to pay each employee $500 a week for 11 weeks, if that. I can’t imagine living off that, so I’m sure they’ll want to settle with something reasonable .

The wait is over. Was going to have it shipped from ID to SoCal. But impatience got the best of me.

Decided to hop on a plane last night and landed at 10pm.

Met up with Kent at Peterson in ID and he had us out of there in 45 minutes. Would highly recommend, the communication and efficiency for a clean fast deal was great.

Halfway back home now. Rubi X is badass!

My wife is more photogenic than I, we found a rock by mono lake and had to take a pic. Many adventures to come...
That's encouraging! We ordered a Rubicon XR from him on August 11th, still in "C" status.

Did you do any break-in on the drive home? I'm thinking I'd take the back roads for the first couple hundred miles to keep the speed down.

No break in needed. My experience with new vehicles is they are "broken in" the same way they are going to be driven throughout their useful life.

Better to let her rip and seat the rings.

This is honestly getting ridiculous. My dealer nor Stellantis can tell me why this is taking so long. The so called "case specialists" do nothing and I'm left in the dark. Is the Willys just not getting the same attention or something? It's not even an XR so I have no clue what the hold up could be beyond a chip shortage or something. I know I'm not as far in C status as some of you here but I can't wait much longer. My current vehicle is falling apart and I need something with 4WD for the winter. With the almost certain strike coming up I'm sure I'm not going to see this thing until the end of the year at this point.

Excatly! I feel even if they get back pay, living off $500 a week , is a joke. Granted, I’m sure the cost of living may be cheaper, but theres no way. I don’t live paycheck to paycheck , but I know that’s not the case for everyone.

I agree, not too worried about the engine. More concerned about break-in for the gears in the axles, transmission, etc. Thanks for sharing your experience!

It's not just the Willy's. As far as I can tell it's anything with the larger tires...someone said their dealer said it was a lift package part shortage and someone else told me it was the tire/wheel causing the issues. I reached out to my salesguy this morning (he actually replied within an hour or so!) and he said he doesn't really know why, but they just aren't getting built nationwide. He basically said they are doing what they can because as dealers they need these vehicles. I can understand since there just aren't any on the lots right now (at least here). My dealer sold their last one last week and now they have none. Seems kind of crazy.

My husband has a car on order too and his lease is up in Oct. I was hoping to get my order so he could drive my current car (cheaper to keep paying on it than to extend his lease), but that just isn't going to happen since mine is still in C/D. 70 days today :(

I hope you can hold out and get yours soon. I don't need, need mine (I just want it!) so I hope they get yours to you first. Haven't really seen any Willy's built so you guys should be next in line for production I would think.
