2024 Order Waiting Room

Those dates just make no sense at all! My build is also a Rubi X 4xe but my order was placed a month after yours (June 16), mine was scheduled a week before yours (June 22) and went in production 10 days before yours (July 21) but is still in production while yours is built. Either they are doing an extra good job at putting mine together, or more than likely this whole tracking thing is just an inside joke at Stellantis. Hope yours arrives near your estimated delivery date, but mine is supposed to be here on August 27th, but I won't be holding my breath!

The schedule has almost nothing to do with the order date, it is all driven by production tooling… engines, suspension etc. For example if they set up to do a run of 2.0L automatic transmission, Rubicon X starting next Monday and I order today, mine would likely get built scheduled, but the guy who ordered his 3.6L automatic transmission, Rubicon (non- X) in April, will still be in C/D for another month!

Story time. I want to first say that Granger has been awesome. So this is not bashing them.

I ordered from Granger for my 2024 White 392. They gave me 6% off of invoice, and I can get another 1% with treadlightly. Nearly 10% off MSRP.

Anywho. I haven't been waiting as long as some of you. But, im 60 days in and currently regressed to D.

So, yesterday I found out that Granger had 4 white 2024 392's sitting on their lot right now. So, I contacted them and asked can I just buy 1 of the 392's on their lot at the same price I ordered for.

They said "All jeeps on the lot are sold at the price that they are listed at. The discount off invoice is only valid for orders placed."

Honestly, this confuses me. I already ordered. I have been waiting 2 months and you have the exact same thing sitting on your lot and you wont sell it to me today for the same price for the one on order?

Thanks a guaranteed today sale. That to me, doesn't make any sense.

Just a hunch, but an order is a guaranteed sale with fast turnover and low overhead, whereas dealer stock probably has additional finance, maintenance, and salesperson cost to recoup.

I would be great if Stellantis was a little more transparent. I can live with knowing there’s a reason behind the build process schedule. But reading tea leaves everyday ??. 33 days and counting

Very nice!!! I have her twin sister on order, but stuck in "E" with an estimated delivery date of August 27th. I can't tell if yours has the Mopar tailgate reinforcement, but that is the only option I added other than the X package, so hoping that doesn't hold things up.

I ordered the exact same (5/9) and added tailgate reinforcement and sunrider! It's been at the dealership since the 4th of August. My problem is working out all the paperwork going from Maryland to Mass! What a PITA!! Hoping to pick it up on the 21st

For what it’s worth, jeepcares did follow up with a second update today (although late) with an updated delivery window. I had originally reached out to them regarding my Jeep being “in production” for so long. I know my Jeep has been unloaded from the train for a couple days (per salesman) and his guess is any day in the next 2 weeks from unload. Jeep email says 8/15-8/29 and Jeep.com says 8/21 still. I truly hope this thing gets delivered to the dealership fast

So, a quick question. I heard that when you special order a Jeep Wrangler, the Monroney label (window sticker) is printed with , "This jeep was specifically built for XXXX". Is this still true, was it ever true?

Yes. I had the dealer order the jeep under my wife’s name so hers would appear on the window sticker.

That’s so frustrating about your sales person. I hate reaching out to mine too, I always feel like a bother but I mean they do have my deposit and they don’t get paid until that jeep is delivered so you’d think they’d want to know what’s going on with them too

Here is how I see it. Especially as it relates to communication. If you have to ask your dealer for updates, then that means your dealer or the factory is not doing a good job keeping you informed. Checking your order status once a week and shooting you a text takes maybe 5 minutes.

The next issue to raise with the dealer is, hey, I need to plan for the financial aspect (Saving, financing, lease etc.) and I need to know time frames so I can prepare. Also, timing for your schedule. You may be out of the area when it is delivered....or you may need to arrange travel to go pick up your Jeep.. Whatever your reasons are, communication is easy...or it should be.

That is why I was asking. I see my E sticker and it is not there. I am also a bit surprised no one who has taken delivery has not posted a photo of their "custom" sticker yet.

I thought that was probably why you were asking. Anyway, after you take delivery you can be one of the few to ever post an image of your sticker.
