I own a 2022 JLR with aftermarket bumpers, 12,00lb winch and oversized tire carrier and 37” tires which are waiting to be installed, and when looking for a lift kit, I have had good experiences in the past with skyjacker but most companies are probably similar for this question.
Most lift kits are based on the JLUR and with the added weight could I use the kits from a JLUR? Pros and cons?

Personally, I'd rather stick with the top shelf names like Metalcloak and Rock Krawler. Clayton also seems to have a good reputation for quality parts and customer support.

A 4 door kit will definitely net more actual height when installed on a 2d vs 4d. It will also ride stiffer as a byproduct. For reference, here's my JLUR with the 3.5" Metalcloak Gamechanger 4 door kit and 38's with chopped fenders. Even with unchopped fenders, a 3.5" kit specifically for a 2 door will net you plenty of lift for 37's. Mine is still sitting at about 3.75" over stock with a 12k winch and mounting plate, sliders, aftermarket rear bumper, hinged tailgate reinforcement, and on-board air. Before these items, it was about 4.25" over stock height.

Nice setup! Metalcloak and Rock Krawler are quite pricey but from what I have read they are very good. I guess it just depends on my budget when I get ready to lift it. Seems like the better kits still leave things out that I would feel like I needed, very few complete kits to satisfy the masses!

Which component are you thinking you want that they don't include?

You see a lot of kits that only include lower control arms or shock extensions or relocation brackets trying to save someone money, but is that even safe or allow correct alignment of components?

So much information out there as to what you need even for a simple 2” lift on a Rubicon that it’s hard to make a decision for the not so extreme off-roader. Some say on a JLR that you need a new driveshaft for any lift over 2” and some say at least 3”.
