I’m new here and I just threw on bigger tires as a first step on the build. Wanting to do a lift next. My plan is occasional light off-roading with the family and maybe camping. Doing a lot of highway miles for work as well.

I went with the 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the stock wheels. I’m currently back and forth with a 2.5 vs 3.5 inch lift. Would like to hear what everyone has to say and pictures are definitely helpful!

Just do Rubicon Take offs. you will gain about an inch to 1.5 inches of lift for your sport. This is what I did and its plenty. Id only upgrade taller if I was going larger tires and before I do that, I would re-gear, get the right kit to help with caster and probably new drive shafts to be safe. 2.5 inches you probably wont need drive shafts, but do the lift right. Your Daily work commute will thank you. Till then RUBI take offs is my suggestion. After that if you think you need more at least you dont have much invested to start

I've had my current 2020 for about a year, (had my first 2020 for six months, but that's a whole other story) and I'm learning right behind you bud. I added some tires, a cargo rack for the back, I got a 5 inch with SiriusXM because I like having physical knobs for controls, and a bunch of other stuff like hinge steps and a new steering dampener and dead pedal that I've yet to install.

That's my take. Start with the small stuff while you research and look on here for lift mods and other things. Don't be me and bit the bullet and get an upgraded brake kit. I've yet to install it because I need spacers for my stock wheels and I might as well get new brake lines if I need them. That's my current research.

Also go around your vehicle and check maintenance items like fluids, spark plugs air filters, etc. Make sure that beauty runs smooth!
