Have had a few issues with my 2019 Jeep Rubicon unlimited but a few days ago took the cake! I was on my way to work and the vehicle lost it's mind....literally. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree scrolling through every code imaginable. I lost power steering, power brakes, shifter response etc. Stopped on the side of the road with zero ability to use any functions in the vehicle. The ignition had no response when pressed and would not allow me to start it, roll my windows up or restart the Jeep. I did manage after about five minutes to get it restarted but the shifter would not engage in any gear and codes just kept beeping.

The vehicle was towed to the local dealer and they completed their inspection and found over 95 codes on the computer. They ran all the diagnostic tests that they could comprehend and contacted Chrysler to see if there had been any issues of likeness, but to no avail. They tested the batteries figuring they may be fault but the tests came back ok.

I went to get the jeep today and when the service tech went out to drive it up for me the Jeep did the exact thing it had done to me! They are absolutely stumped!

So if anyone has had a similar experience and had a solution to this problem it would be greatly appreciated! The dealers suggestion was to trade it in for a new vehicle......place eye roll here!!!

Make sure all your fuses are seated and if your batteries are the originals, replace them. Also, there is a BUSS connector behind the glovebox. You could try reseating that connection. I believe the connector is green.

There have been numerous reports of these symptoms on this board. I’m shocked the dealer has not heard of this.

Check the fuses and canbus connections and have the batteries tested. Especially the auxiliary.

Both batteries were tested and came back good. Dealer investigated the bus connection behind the glovebox and found it faulty. They will be replacing it Tuesday and hopefully solves the issue.
