So I've had my entire cooling system replaced. 2 radiators, cooler fan, 2 water pumps, 4 thermostats and a head gasket. The damn thing keeps running hot still and I think it's the stupid thermostat because I can maintain the temp when I have the heat on full blast. Does anyone have any idea of how to fix this problem? I'm upside down in this thing so any advice is much appreciated.

Is your thermostat upside-down? Did you burp/bleed the coolant system when you replaced the parts connected to your coolant lines?

I took it to Firestone and I asked those questions and they said yes. But that's what I thought it was put in upside down.

TBH I haven't replaced a thermostat in a 2014, and maybe it only goes in one way, but maybe worth checking to see if the hose between the thermostat and the engine gets warm or not when the engine reaches 200 degrees. My other comment about the burping is essential because trapped air in the system can get very hot.

Also, check your lower radiator hose. They sometimes collapse when they are old & won’t allow good circulation.
Is it overheating when idling only, or does it happen when you’re driving 30+ mph consistently?
