Went to the build site, and they offer sun bonnets (solid and mesh)...anyone have a recommendation of which one? Looking for a sun shade for driver and passenger (Texas) with the top off. And with either of these options, can you but the soft top back on with these still attached?

One other thing, they are offering leather seats on the willys. On the summary sheet it shows both cloth and leather, so what is leather and what is cloth?

I guess my biggest issue with fully maxing out a Willys is why? Its like spending 50k on a Sport S ... just get a Sahara instead. Or in the Willys case just get the Rubi instead.

I bought an Alienshade from Amazon for mine. 2 piece for front and back seats but only use the front since no one rides in the back. I have had the top off most of the year and summer. Although it can still be hot, the Alienshade helps keep the heat from just beaming down on you. Wouldnt want to go without one. The hard top and front panels fit perfectly on with the Alienshade. I believe the softop wont because of the way the rails attach to the rollbar.

Fun ones!

For me it was mainly the 4.10 gears. I have the manual so it has the V6. I know, that you know, that because I'm at 787' above sea level I'm losing 2.7514488% power! The other things were the high line fenders, better axles (you know, good at the mall), small lift, and I like the factory wheels. When ordering a '24 2 door I don't think you could even get a Sahara. And yeah, I was the shmuck that marked every box. But in the end I paid $41k for a tarted up 2 door Willys. It would've been about $3k cheaper if I didn't opt for the overpriced half doors. I did strongly consider just a no option Willys, which is an incredible value. But you know what, I said YOLO like the kidz (I think there may be a new saying these days).

I was shopping for a used JL 2 door when the 2024 Willys became available for order in July of 2023. 33" tires, 4.10 gears, M210/220 axles, rear locker, tow package, aux switches, Gorilla glass w/hidden antenna, UConnect 5 w/12.3" screen. All new for 2024 for $110 over a 2023. Stopped looking at used ones at that point. The only options I ordered was Anvil paint and the window storage bag. The Alpine would have been nice but I was not willing to give up the storage space under the rear floor. Have fun ordering and enduring the wait!

2024 manual transmission Willys, hard top, convenience package and technology (which is just the alpine stereo on the 2024). Did not want the safety group and all the nannies.
The only option I wanted with the convenience package was the climate control and heated seats. I know I am going to end up having the top and doors off when it's a bit chilly and seat heaters help that. I don't use the passive entry or whatever other features can with the convenience package.
Paid just over 36k before ttl.

I love it you should order one.

Thanks everyone. Probably don’t need the Nannie’s and alpine. I am stepping down from my JTRD if I do this. Some thing I like others not sure if it makes a difference.

but I do agree if I kit out a Willy’s the. I would just go rubi again the cost difference isn’t that great.

'22 2-dr Willys here. 3.6L/Auto. Found this one at the time it was listed as an incoming stock order. All options shy of half doors (which I later scored). I think it's a great Jeep, and I enjoy the options.
I will say, the drivetrain upgrades now standard on the '24's are pretty awesome!

I have a 2021 Willys manual. The only option I got was the tow pkg. That option is a must have!
Kind of wish I would have gotten pwr windows and locks but I can live without them.
I switched everything over to LED for about $400.00 myself.
I also have a Mopar lift that I will be putting on next summer. im going with 315-70-17 tires that I haven't bought yet. I will also be going to 4.56 gears.

You should be honest with yourself about how slowly you’re comfortable driving on the highway. I don’t take mine above 64 mph. There’s a point where a top-heavy, short wheelbase vehicle becomes a little more squirrley, and I don’t have any desire to get anywhere near that point.

My other vehicles are driven a bit more, um… spiritedly on the highway.

Bros garage looks like a living room for his Jeep 🤣 👍 Also love the half-doors. That is the one thing I regret not ordering with my '24 JLURX.

@Upnover are you intending to factory order new or are you intending to look on the lot?

For the '25 MY it looks like from the order sheet you can get the Alpine audio without having to get the safety group if you don't want those things. I'd definitely recommend the convenience group just for the passive entry, upgraded digital cluster display, and the automatic AC. Heated seats would also be nice in Michigan.

The Xtreme 35" tire package is definitely nice also as it comes with the upgrade full float rear axel and 4.56 gears. The only downside is if you want either the 3.6L V6 or a manual transmission as it is only available with the 2.0T w/ 8 speed auto; if you already want that powertrain then I'd go for the X35 package too. Worth the price if you'd eventually plan on similar upgrades if you were going to end up paying someone to install things.

Probably just off the lot, all the dealers around me add the convenience package. They are offering it at 41k

There is just a couple XRs coming in so wasn’t sure if I want to go that route, but I found a rubicon for less.

I was more debating on the front locker and sway bar need, I have bought rubis in the past but haven’t really used the lockers.

Power trains I am not passionate about what I choose, had them all. 4 has pep but the sound, v6 is what it is.
