You do realize there’s a $10k difference in price right and you still have to add things to the Jeep?
I don't think that's true. My 2022 Jeep Rubicon $39.8k. I just did the build and price on a Base Squatch and it was $41.5k (I was forced to build a 2023 Bronco). The Jeep has more power and lower gearing. I did add aux switches, which I have in my Rubicon. I couldn't add a tow package to the Bronco, and it cost an additional $2,500 for the soft top. I didn't choose that even though I special ordered my Rubicon with a soft top and tow package. Also, the Rubicon came with the upgraded stereo as standard. So, I built the cheapest Base Squatch I could and I'd still have to add things to it to make it comparable to the Rubicon.

I think a better comparison would be Rubicon to Badlands. But we could nitpick all day.

Using the builder, 2023 Rubicon with hard top and headliner is $47,380 to the $41,500 of the base Bronco. I added those because the Bronco comes with. But the Rubicon has the better speakers but the Bronco has more power, driving modes, and led headlights, auto high beams, 4.70 gearing, etc. Its only $200 to get the Aux switches in the Bronco vs $2k in the Rubicon. Plus the SAS suspension itself. That’s why people consider it a bargain for what you get. But again it’s like apples or oranges, the Sasquatch is a trail runner / mild off road rock climber where the Rubcion excels at rock crawling / trails.

They’re both awesome but the Bronco is cheaper on paper for what you get.

When you configure it to be cheaper. Compare Rubicon to Badlands if you think that's a better comparison. I've ordered both a JLR and a Badlands. The Rubicon was far less expensive.

2021 Badlands - $47,835
2021 JLR - $41,050
2022 JLR - $39,800

I think the main cost savings between the Jeep and Bronco is the fact you can price it out with a high volume dealer with Jeep and get 6-8% below invoice. Otherwise, if you look at what you are actually getting between the two they are comparable if not a slight edge to the Bronco.

I have a '21 JLUR, and I ordered a '21 Badlands 4 door prior to taking delivery of my JLUR, the Bronco was less (comparing invoice to invoice pricing - I have a local Ford Dealer who does $500 under invoice even on a Bronco) and included MGV/washout floors, LED lighting, aux switches, etc. If you factored all of that into a Rubicon build it would be far more expensive.

If you really wanted to compare a '23 Badlands 2 Door to the '23 JLR (not factoring in the Sasquatch package), it would break down to this:

'23 Badlands, 2 door, Hard top, Manual, no other options: $46,990
'23 JLR, 2 Door, add aux switches, Hard Top, LED lighting: $52,565

That's not crediting the Bronco with MGV and washout. So....let's try and keep it apples to apples. Not to mention the Bronco allows for a manual with any type of build including Sasquatch.

I think the point is it's never apples to apples.

$500 under invoice for a Bronco isn't the norm, an unavailable deal to most.

Also, you're pricing a Rubicon to match a Bronco. Go the other direction. Rubicon comes with premium sound, only available with the Lux package on the Bronco. Rubicon comes with a soft top, a $2,500 add on the Bronco. What you pay is apples to apples, not sticker and not invoice.

JLR - $39.8 (I own this one)
Badlands - $54.4k (sticker, optioned only with tow package, upgraded stereo and soft top, to match my JLR)

I have three orders, actual orders from dealers, and I posted the prices above (previous post). Those are actual prices paid (I bought two of those, and cancelled the third), on as close as can be optioned.

If I weren't a 7/13'er (reserve night), be part of the club here.

Still, a 2.3t with a Manual is awesome, even my Jeep buddies love mine:

Still, why not have more than one vehicle? I'll officially join ya guys one day

Debating a 2 door Bronco right now, I will say.......it's tempting, I drove it and prefer the 7MT on it to the JL in terms of clutch engagement and overall feel. It's a 4 door JL vs a 2 door Bronco, I feel like the 2 door Bronco is the perfect size to allow me to still get most everything I want in it. It's just a bit bigger than the 2 door JL.

Price wise it's a Badlands SAS, OTD - $47,200, just for comparison sake.

Thanks, also rescued my friends old ZJ with her:

In hindsight, shouldn't of used Baja mode for the pull, but it worked out

You wouldn't regret the Bronco, love mine, though I wish the aftermarket would pick up a little bit faster on the performance parts

I'm with you on the aftermarket, mainly a non-mesh bikini top, and more winch mount options. I'm not thrilled with either RC option.

Gotta love Rough Cunt xD I'm 90% done with the lights here, just rocks, light bar and mirror, all Oracles.

They'd love you down at Jeep Beach btw with one xP

The Jeep is always in GOAT mode.
Exactly. I'm no fanboy for either brand, I'm hoping to do a manual 392 2dr in the future

Yall comparing pricing keep forgetting to add the Solid Axle Swap (whoops forgot the Sasquach package is abbreviated to SAS as well) to the Bronco pricing

That's not a true comparison for 2 doors though. The sasquatch package is more equivalent to the XR package. So a non-squatch badland is most comparable to a 2 door stock JLR.

For 4 doors, yes I'd compare a Badlands Sasquatch vs. the JLUR-XR. Mine were $57K and $64K respectively, comparably optioned.
