I'm a new Rubicon owner, so go easy on me with your replies.

I got a quote for 6K to install the following:

Rough Country 624C lift kit
KMC-GRS wheels
Toto Open Country AT3 tires

Is that kind of high? My original guess for installing such a kit was maybe 3K. Do any of you know of any places around the DFW that don't charge an arm and a leg to install a better kit and better tires?

My goal is 2.5" lift, 35" tires with something like a Baja wheel.

Thanks. Wrong forum. Trying to do too much in a short period of time.

The tires are $400 each and the wheels are $350 each. (400+350)*5 = $3,750 plus mount, balance, tax call it $4,500.

Is it the kit with shock extensions? That runs $300 and is bare bones.

$1000 would be pretty heavy for install.
