Hello JL Wrangler Forums!

My name is Brandon and I created Pareto Offroad because offroad travel and exploration is something that is incredibly close to my heart. Over the last year, I’ve been working to combine this passion along with my love of woodworking. The result is Pareto Offroad’s first product, our JLU seat delete platform.

Our seat delete platforms will be the basis for a variety of other products we’ll be releasing to help your travels be more organized and enjoyable. These include platforms for the 2 door models (almost done with development) and custom drawer systems that are made to order to your specifications.

To help celebrate our launch, I’m offering some discounts that will lower our JLU platform to the absolute lowest price they will ever be, up to $645 off for the first 5 orders.

Use these up!
  • Code JLU4DOOR-645-OFF for $645 off of the first 5 redemptions.
  • Code JLU4DOOR-445-OFF for $445 off of the next 5 redemptions.
  • Code JLU4DOOR-245-OFF for $245 off of the first 5 redemptions.

Redeem them here: https://paretooffroad.com/products/jeep-wrangler-4-door-seat-delete-platform

Our Seat Delete Platform creates a completely flat surface after your rear seats are removed. This greatly increases interior cargo space and helps you stay organized on your adventurers.

Our Seat Delete Platform features:
  • Hatches allow access to the area below the platform, increasing storage options. Recessed latches allow easy removal while preventing anything from falling below.
  • Easy installation. Once your seats are removed, minimal hardware is needed to install the platform. Install time is typically under 10 minutes.
  • Future compatibility. All our Seat Delete Platforms feature full compatibility with our future products, including drawer systems, fridge slides, side storage shelves, and rear shelving.
  • Compatible with other manufacturers products. To retain a visibly clean appearance, we don't pre-drill attachment holes. You're free to use other manufacturers' products without leaving unused holes in your platform.

Our Seat Delete Platform construction:
  • All surfaces are coated with a professionally applied bed liner, encapsulating the platform in a water and wear-resistant barrier. This coating increases the durability of the platform and looks great.
  • Minimal fasteners are visible from the platform top, creating a visually clean platform. We worked hard to reduce holes in the top surface that can collect debris, and allow spills to leak downward and compromise electronics.
  • 100% black stainless steel surface hardware. Further adds to the clean appearance and reduces fastener corrosion issues.
  • Completely flat surface. All fasteners, hatches, and latches are completely level with the platform - nothing to get in your way or make modifications more complicated.
Please note, that this platform does not fit the 4xe or 392 models. These are coming soon!

Each platform is built to order, so please allow up to 4 weeks for shipment.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

@Pareto Offroad
Brandon,
It's not mentioned in the ad copy, but is it correct to presume that the platform is constructed of plywood?
And when you anticipate offering the non-subwoofer option?
Thanks!

Yep, it’s made from the highest quality Baltic Birch exterior grade (water-resistant adhesive) ply I've found. It's not the kind you can get at Home Depot and is expensive, but a great material.

I'm sure I'll have a nonsubwoofer version at some point, but I've been unable to find one to build from here in Denver. If one doesn't present itself soon, I'll likely rent one and have the version for sale by the end of March.

Yours is the best-looking seat delete kit I've seen, so I wish you the best with it. ?

One of the JLU4DOOR-645-OFF codes that lowers the $1,445 price to $800 has been used. Thank you!

There are 4 more at that price.

Not sure if you've seen @bodhi 's 4xe rear seat delete custom platform thread but there's a serious lack of similar for the 4xe. I'm preparing to cobble my own together following his blueprint but I'd be thrilled to find a comparable commercial product that accomplishes the same result but has higher production quality than the terrible finish I'd come up with. Just saying.

Thanks for the heads-up on that thread. This is the first I’ve seen of the 4xe with seats removed. I’ll be honest, that looks more involved than I expected.

I saw some people removing the spot-welded pieces to bring the height of a platform down. While I’d absolutely do this as a one-off for myself, it’s probably not a best practice for a production product.

What are your thoughts on only offering the 4xe with a drawyer system for the back that add some storage options and brings the surface up higher to get over those metal brackets?

This would undoubtedly add to the cost, but if there aren’t others in the market now, maybe that would be ok.

I’ve been waiting for this! I have the non-subwoofer JLU. Will I still get the discount when they release?

I’ll likely have a small discount when I’m ready to ship the non subwoofer versions, but it will probably be less than the lowest coupon code available right now. If you’d be willing to preorder and wait until the end of April (conservatively, likely sooner), I could open a new option up in the website and you could apply the current coupon codes.

While that would certainly work, I'd be a bit annoyed if it ends up blocking off or making it hard to access the cubby space below the cargo floor. What I think might be best is a split kit, each half of the cargo space can be configured as a raised portion to create a level sleeper platform above the brackets, or be at floor level to make it easier to store larger/more things as well as preserve the cubby access to that storage space. That way it works whether you want a sleeper platform or to maximize cargo capacity.

That makes sense. I've got a couple of follow-up questions I’ll PM to not add too much to this thread. Thank you so much for your feedback. ?

Of course, any time you want to bounce some ideas off of me. Might as well keep this thread general purpose rather than let it turn into a hybrid wish list.

Even if you don’t normally keep gear in the storage areas, the hatches are great for keeping things from sliding around!

That would be me. I would have posted sooner but had to register and get approved. I have been considering the Goose Gear seat delete/sleeping platform for some time. I like the material choice and cleaner look/design of this. With the the great discount why not! I already have a lot of mods to my Jeep including an AEV lift, wheels, 37's, Rock Sliders, Rhino rack, FSR Odyssey tent, metal bumpers, winch, Fabtech rear cargo rack, Outback Adventure Trailgator, sliding refrigerator, GMRS, lights.... It's been my off road adventure project vehicle since I bought it new. Not my daily driver, but it has seen a good amount of use and been through some tough trails in Oregon, Washington, and California. Never let me down.

What I don't like about this design is the smallish access doors, especially the small rear cargo one. The bigger the better for getting gear in and out of there. I use the rear cargo area to store my high volume air compressor (fits after a little mod to the compressor), air up/down hoses, and snatch block. I am already considering the idea to cut that back plate and install a hinge so I can have better access to the rear cargo area, like I did with the stock floor cover after installing the slide out refrigerator. With the small access door, nothing very large can fit in the rear cargo area.
