If you had 103 octane is it more damaging to the engine than 97? Asking for a friend
Tell your friend we ran 115–145 Octane Avgas in our IH flathead 6 flightline van without a problem. Don’t know if it improved performance though, it seldom got over 15 mph, and never over 25. ?

Wow! I was bullshitting of course but really 145? Engine was crying? Would that not be completely dry on cylinders?

Dripping with lead— well lubricated ? when the fuel truck fueled the planes it also had a small hose for the van and ground equipment, your tax dollar at work.:clap:
