Hello everyone,
Probably a silly question for some, but my knowledge on the subject is limited.
I installed a 500W Power station to run the fridge for more than 24 hours without starting the car. And above all, do not use the car battery.
My installation is simple, the power station is permanently connected via its adapter to the 110v socket at the back of the car. The fridge is plugged in via the cigarette lighter socket on the power station. When I drive, the power station recharges and as soon as I start the car, the power station supplies the fridge.
Problem, after a certain time which seems totally random to me, the connection cuts off at the 110v socket of the car, the warning light also goes out. I hear a little noise from the dashboard (a "click", maybe a relay?)
I think the problem comes from the difference in amperage between the 110v plug and the in of the power station.
Unfortunately for cable length issues I cannot currently use the cigarette lighter socket on the dashboard.
Do you have an idea?
