Going downhill in 4L 1000rpm and holding. Well controlled. Very slow for a few seconds. Steep grade. 1-3mph. Rocky.
Its like the brakes release. RPMs climb rapidly. Have to apply brakes. Cycle repeats.
Not a smooth typical controlled RPM climb going downhill in any other 4x4.
This trails is rated 8-10 dependending on which section. Last section is definitely a 10 imho
We winched up the most difficult section as it’s usually done top to bottom. But did it in reverse and broke out the rear tail light and popped off the rear fender (clipped it back in later). Zip tied...
So I spent a few hours Sunday doing some easy wheeling in the JL, enjoying a very unusual 57 degrees with almost no wind in Kansas. No crazy obstacles, just a nice quick jaunt through the area with some scenic views and different perspectives of the Jeep.
