door ajar

I have a 2019 JLUS and I’ve just realized that my Jeep does not know when the drivers side rear door is opened. The window and lock still work, but the dome light won’t trigger for that door. Does anyone know where the door ajar switch is located? I suspect it’s built into the latch mechanism...
