Problem solved!
I noticed most of the error were related to the front driver side (abs sensor, airbag sensor etc…). Started following wiring harnesses and found where I drilled through one putting on the new fenders. 7 wires in total were severed. Half an hour, some solder, heat shrink and it’s...
Pretty sure the cables are fine, plenty of slack (pic included). I undid them and refastened just to be sure.
I reinstalled the tazer and got a boatload of codes, listed below. They are all over the place, but lots of abs and communication related stuff. The 02 sensor might be real (might have...
This is a good idea to check! I don’t know if the 392 has the body ground but I did have to remove the 2 frame grounds and move them due to the new shock hoop. I just welded a stud to the frame and put them on that. Maybe it’s not making good contact. I’ve used a similar method welded stud) on...
The tazer can check these all of these and I did not see codes. I am going to reconnect and marry it and check again. I uninstalled it to rule it out as the issue, clearly it was not that. My handheld scanner can check some of the other modules (abs for sure) but probably not them all. It’s...
The 392 does not have an aux battery (no ESS). I will load test the battery but I think it’s unlikely. The connection is good (I’ve reseated it a few times).
I will check that harness, they did get moved around while I was cutting off the coil buckets and other brackets.
No codes showed up on the tazer or my hand scanner once I cleared things. There were 2 o2 sensor related ones stored but I expected those. Once cleared they have not come back.
I recently installed a Rock Krawler long arm and Rebel Offroad DSS kit on my 2023 392. I have been driving the vehicle for a few weeks as I wrap up details (adjust spring rates, suspension angles, add tire carrier and fenders etc...). Everything has been fine once I corrected the speedo with a...
This was exactly what I needed, thank you!
now I just have to figure out the exhaust on the 392. The cats are right where the front control arm mounts need to be!
While installing a Rock Krawler long arm on my 392, I got a little ahead of myself and cut off the rear trac bar bracket without recording the placement of the mounting hole.
Could anyone with a rubicon (wide axle) take a quick measurement for me? I need the horizontal distance between...
Have any detailed pics of how the coilovers and lower control arms mount to the rear axle? I know the RK kit moves the control arm mount, which the coilover mounts to with the recon kit… just curious to what solution they fabbed up, I’ll be doing the same combo most likely.
