Just did this on a 2026.
B-pillar wires are the same. HS10 still fits (Armorlite floors change it up a bit. nut not much). No gromet in the driver's side (plastic shield I didn't want to drill through) so went the passenger secondary drain plug and along the frame route.
His is a 2dr Willys too, which makes a difference. I paid $45 OTD for my 2dr Rubicon this year. Ordered it direct through a dealer. White, premium soft top, auto, AC, power locks/windows, 4:1 Rock-Trac, LED group, safety group. 7" screen. Window Storage bag. That's like an extra $85 a month over...
Others have addressed the tire shop part, but I want to address this bit. A JL Rubicon on 33s is a beast off-road. You'll run out of skill long before you run out of tire. Learn to wheel first. 35s and 37s are for looks if you don't already know what you can really do on the 33s. That said, it's...
Not discounting anything you've said thus far, as it's all accurate. But my experience with 27+ years in Pennsylvania winters is that tires matter more than drivetrain for on-road winter driving. My JKU with General Grabbers felt so planted in all but deep-deep snow that it made 4-Hi unnecessary...
Outside of the sticks stabbing the boot on the trail thing, is the durability unknown though? Hasn't this has been offered outside of the United States for a while now?
Stupid question that I'm pretty sure I know the answer to, but for the Quadratec harness, will I need one per seat or can I run both of my front seats from the single harness (using two seat heater kits)?
If you pull the compressor from your refrigerator and put it into a new fridge and then the compressor fails, will GE warranty it?
If you buy a computer from Dell, and then replace the motherboard, sticking the GPU, RAM, Processor, and every other OEM Dell component into the new mainboard, will...
Rotating all 5 makes the set last quite a bit longer. The 5th tire hanging in the back is going to degrade and rot just sitting there. I don't really see how you're saving money overall.
I had a similar issue with my JKU many years back. I rotated the tires and drove for a few days several times, but the driver's side front sensor constantly showed no tire pressure on the dashboard. Took it to a dealer and they wanted to charge me to look at it. I called bullshit because it...
It wasn't the OP of the thread that started down the WRX rabbit hole. It sprung from a conversation between @Bigfx1 and @crystalbackJL. I would wager that one, or both of them, were thinking of the STi when they said "WRX"*. Why would someone brag about beating a regular sedan (the WRX) in...
I'm not 20 years old anymore either, but I ride with the top down even when it's snowing, so I know that my thoughts on any obsession over an open air experience are, well, obsessive and not applicable to what other people do or why they might buy a Wrangler. ;)
No, going with the current WRX instead of the current WRX STi when calling it a "sports car" is cherry picking. The standard WRX is no more a performance car than that BMW 430i is (the M4 is the sports car variant of the 4-series platform). The 2021 WRX STi goes 0-60 in 5.3 seconds as tested...
Dude, I live here too. You're flat out wrong. Even if that's all you see where you live (I doubt it), you can't project that out as a macro consideration for why people buy Wranglers. The market doesn't support it.
