By the way: This was the final solution, without drawes, but with airline rails instead. Fitted all my needs as daily / hunting car. And was a good solution for overland storage too. Not as quite as comfortable as a drawer, but more than okay.

In Germany.. two doors have a max towing capacity about 3000lbs... just regulated due to CO2 label... You can increase to 5000 lbs towing capacity by using a certified towing hook. So I think you shouldn't worry about :-) The car definitely is capable to tow those lbs .

Hi, until now, there aren't any problems with the doors, while the bonnet and the rear gate are starting to build bubbles around the hinges. So, yes.. I think this method works Well, and I soon have to take care of the other hinges I didn't replace yet. Tobias
