Add another 20 Rubicon to the list. Did it stock and still does it lifted on 37’s. Adjustable arms and have moved pinion from +1 to -3 and no change. I’m going to put Fox ATS steering stabilizer on to see if it will dampen the vibration in the steering wheel.
It’s the tailgate mechanism that stops the door from swinging out. It binds up. There are 2 bolts where the mechanism goes into the tub. Loosen the 2 bolts and let the catch move as far forward as it will go. It will move enough to free the strap from binding.
I didn’t have to drill spring perch for bump stops, bolt went right in. Had to cut the sway bar links though. Other than than it was just wrenching.
I bought the Fox 2.0 from Clayton for shocks
I almost trimmed the horns and moved winch forward as my plate has one more set of holes forward. Was doing lift after winch install and was ready to get started so I left it.
I have the Maximus 3 winch mount and factory steel bumper. Winch is as far forward as it will go due to hitting frame horns. It’s super close to the grille. Is everyone’s this close?
