based on my experience with my Falcons, they are initially firm but do break in after 1200-1400 miles.
I'd be interested in the OP's impression after some mileage.
Matsonian can provide the final word but my experience with these shows that they do compress to the stock height. I lost no uptravel with them and did not remove any pucks from axle.
Back when I first built my JLR, I did the MC GameChanger 2.5" lift and 37's. It was perfect for my needs. On the 2.5" and 3.5" MC lifts, the only difference is the spring.
The OP always has the option to go run their 35's on the 2.5 and then when the bigger tires call, they can buy some springs...
I am 15,xxx miles in and two more trips to Utah on my Gorilla Glass. No issues.
Nothing is unbreakable tho...the 2 year warranty should offer pretty decent peace of mind.
