Makes sense. How did you disconnect yours? Pull fuse 42 and disconnect the aux ground from main battery terminal? I have a 23 diesel with tazer mini with the ESS disabled since it was new and my aux battery is no good. I’m worried the aux battery is going to ruin my main battery. I didn’t know...
I have a 23 rubicon diesel that I disabled the ESS with a tazer mini. I still have the small battery hooked up. Does it hurt anything or will it cause any problems? Should I remove it and just run everything off the big battery?
I also got my hpfp replaced in December. These fuel pumps need a lubricant the pressures are too high. I don’t understand why it would cause any problems using edt? My F250 service truck is a 2020 6.7 diesel that I got in 2019 and it has 120k miles and I double dose it with edt every fill up...
I bought my Jl 4/23 and noticed a wire hanging down when I got it home and it was this exact same unit. I took it out right then and I have never had any check engine lights or weird things happen. That thing is a gps tracker get rid of it
I’ve been using hot shot edt for years in my f250 and my JL diesel. I use it mainly for the lubricants for the hpfp. I live in the Sacramento area Galt. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Propel station
I probably should have mentioned that I have a JL diesel with sliders full skids and heavy bumpers with winch. I’ve probably added 1000 lbs plus to it. I don’t mind if the ride is a little stiff because these sister springs bottom out sometimes and if there’s a decent cross wind the body roll is...
What didn’t you like about the metal cloak springs? I’m gonna go over there this afternoon and get a set. I’m currently running rubicon express 3.5 in the front and 2.5 in the rear and I think they’re too soft. When I take off from a stop it feels like my front end lifts 4” and hits the bump...
I think it was reading about 10 mph slow. I used the tazer mini to recalibrate and disable the ESS. These Rubicon’s with the high line fenders don’t need much lift. I drove mine for a week on 37’s and no lift. Like I said I have 2.5” lift and it doesn’t rub. I don’t like how they wonder around...
I have a 23 JLRUD. I have a rubicon express 2.5 lift and fox shocks 37” tires with Icon DOT legal beadlocks. I think they are 3.5” backspace. That diesel didn’t care about those 37s. I live in California and just a 1700 mile round trip to Idaho my Jeep was packed full of gear and I got 26.6mpg...
