2019 JLUR with only 36,000 miles...head gasket went south. No warning, no symptoms. All of a sudden the jeep started sputtering, yellow light came on, and that was it.
Great jeep workmanship...designed to fail at 36K...WTH?
I purchased both the aux and main batteries for my JL and I was going to install them myself. I now have a severe shoulder strain and cannot do the work. Doctor said no lifting.
I am looking for a good shop to install the batteries in the OC area.
Thank you in advance!
I purchased a Blackvue dashcam and I want to hardwire to the #4 aux switch. The Blackview has 3 wires…Batt, Acc, and Gnd. Normally I would have no problem hooking up the camera, but I am confused when it comes to the aux switch. I would hook up BATT to blue wire with pink stripe, black wire to...
I recently received a new gun holster for the passenger side of my JL. The Holster is custom made for you,
therefore it can be made any way you like it, Choice of stitching, and any accent color you would like. He also makes key fobs and phone holders.
I have no affiliation or monetary...
Our Jeep has a lift and sometimes when people enter/exit, theIr foot slips off the rock slider
I have been thinking about putting a non-skid surface on the slider using marine type deck paint.
Has anyone done something similar? Longevity? Any ideas or suggestions?
I have a black JLUR and have been looking for red wheels that are similiar in color to the tow hook. I have been unable tp find any except a couple of Black Rhino in "candy apple red"
I am a bit concerned about candy apple. It seems to me that it is a little too much (flashy) on a Rubicon...
Have been looking at new wheels for my 2019 Rubi...and then I thought about powder coating the original wheels.
Has anyone done this? Results? Pics?
Cheers, and thanks for your input.
Yes, they are. Ordered a mic holder almost a month ago. They confirmed the order, charged my CC...and the wait continues.
Communications? Nothing
Email response? Nothing
Phone response? No answer
This is why they are unique
Anyone deal with them? Suggestions? Experience?
2019 JLUR
Looked through the owners manual and searched the forum, but cannot find the fuse number for the Hazard Warning Lights.
Would appreciate any input.
Cheers and thanks in advance.
I am installing a Dometic refrigerator In my 2019 JLUR. I purchased the “hardwiring kit” at the same time. The kit is 10ga wire and comes with ring terminals to connect to the battery.
I want the refrigerator installed with a switch. I have the “aux wires“ in the passenger footwell, and...
2019 JLUR: when I brought it home from the dealer, I measured the distance from my garage floor to the side rail and it measured 18 inches.
Since then (18 months ago), I have added aftermarket steel bumpers, winch, full belly pan system and a few other items.
It now measures 16 inches, a loss...
We are Baja Design fans and all our lighting is from BD.
We are going to install rock lights, and BD’s are great, but the grandkids (whose Jeep is this?) want lights where you can change the colors, and BD does not offer that option.
l have been looking at other vendors lights and most look...
I know the rear power outlet (F43) and the cigar lighter (F52) always have battery power. I want to use a fuse tap to obtain battery power for a parking camera, and I have already used the two locations above.
What other fuse locations can I utilize that has batt power?
Thanks in advance for...
We are looking for a solution to mount an iPad in the gap between the two front seats, so the children in the rear can see movies as we travel. We usually use 67 designs for these kinds of things, but they don't have anything that quite works for this.
We have looked at running a bar between...
Installed a swing out tire carrier and attempted to re-route the camera coax, but not quite long enough.
has anyone spliced the coax to lengthen it? Does anyone know of a longer coax that will mate up? Any ideas? Thanks in advance
We installed the JCR Vanguard rear bumper on our JLUR. We are debating installing the JCR Adventure tire carrier. This carrier is independent of the tailgate, and opens separately. Since the carrier rotates installing wiring is more complicated than other carrier installs.
Has anyone...
