I’ve been trying to get my steering firmed up and have had several alignments and tonight I think I got it all dial in with one exception! The Steering Angle Sensor is off. With the wheels straight and steering wheel centered, I noticed on my JSCAN that the angle was off by 3.5 degrees. If I...
This was only my 2nd time messing with the JSCAN app so I just went in and deactivated the rear camera, did an Ecu reset and cleared codes. Then reset Ecu’s again, cleared all the codes and then re-enabled the camera, reset ecu’s. Then I was able to get the camera back. The only radio code I was...
Well I just went out tonight and messed with a few settings and reset some of the Ecuador’s using the Jscan app and what do you know! My camera works! I’ll see how it goes over the next week and see if it stays.
Well just showed up at the dealership, they have had my Jeep all week to sort out the camera. They looked at the wiring and replaced the rear camera and it still doesn’t work. So now they are ordering a new head unit!
Yes that’s a good point. To clean the sensors you have to remove the wheels / brake rotors and pull the sensor out of the hub assy and flush it out with dirt. I was amazed how mush dirt was in mine when I replaced my ball joints.
Well I tried everything yesterday and got no where, looks like I'll be making an appt with the dealer. I completely disconnected both batteries and let it sit for about an hour, I removed the head unit and disconnected everything and reinstalled with no change in the rear camera. I even went...
Thanks for the input. I just pulled the radio fuse and will let it sit till I get off work. I will try to find out how to disconnect the Aux battery and give that a shot tonight when i get home.
Well still no luck on getting my rear camera back! I even installed version 39.5 and back to 39.6 and still get a blue screen when the camera comes on in reverse!
Yes I verified the correct software. I also did the update with the tazer installed so Im not sure if that was the issue but I unmarried it and pulled the fuse on the radio at lunch. When I started it back up I notice the back ground pic is different and it was downloading offroad pages and etc...
Time for a Winch and Tazer so you can use the lockers in 2wd/4Hi as well! And the Winch to get you out of a sticky situation! I would also consider a good 30' pull strap as well!
