My '25 has been at the dealership since last week for a squealing/whistling/chirping noise from underhood that began at around 2,000 miles on the odometer. Who knows when I'll get it back. But, by the dates listed in this recall mine is at least not affected by this one....for now.
I blame the...
LOL I thought at first this post was about the Badlands off road park in Indiana. :D Oops!
I’ve been to all the big parks from Indiana to Kentucky to Tennessee. The Badlands in my opinion has its pros and cons. The pros are that they have terrain for everyone. Want to blast sand dunes...
In November, when '26s were just starting to be loaded onto delivery trucks to be sent to dealers, I was seeing $13k off sticker on '25s. So I would think a guy could do better than that if there are any new '25s still around today seven months later.
Since the oil interval is 10k MAXIMUM and honestly should be 5k miles.... does any of this really matter? I've had these Pentastar engines go over 200k miles and still running like new on the cheapest oil available.
I spent $250 on the upgrade for the front speakers from Audio Uprising. It's better than stock, but no where near as good as the Alpine system. AU says they are working on a kit for the sport bar also, and I may get that when it's available. But I still don't expect it to match the Alpine...
So to kind of bring this full circle...
Here we are 7 and a half years later and I decided to do the exact same testing (the first testing I did with the JL was on a day with ambient in the 40s. Later I tried it with ambient in the upper 20s) with the exact same digital thermometer on the...
Where I live, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Bronco Sport. They are EVERYWHERE. The ones I dislike the most are the ones painted in that robin egg blue color with white wheels. Ick. Gosh people buy them up like candy though.
Edit: I just looked it up. They've sold 645,000...
To me, Recon looks nothing like Bronco. Recon looks a lot like an overgrown Renegade. Or maybe a modern take on the XJ Cherokee. But it looks nothing like a Bronco. I'd say it resembles a Rivian more than a Bronco if a conparison has to be made. But more than anything it just looks like a...
Ford has already proven that. They sold almost 150k Broncos last year, and claim that they outsold Jeep in April 2026 for the first time. Most buyers clearly don't care what suspension is under their rig.
Exactly. There is no point in it.
WHY do they want two Jeeps, at the same price point, same size, removable doors, removable/open top, same engine/transmission, lots of accessories, etc. etc. in the same showrooms?? That’s just stupid. I get that the Wrangler is going away in Europe and Recon...
1. Confirming manual, it says this config has a 5k# towing and 500# tongue weight, but that'd be a class III hitch. I can't find anything on the hitch itself to confirm this (visibly anyhow without removing it). Anyone know if this is indeed a class III?
Lots of threads on this in the towing...
Mine is a lease at the moment so I'm not going to tune it, but I applaud the work you've done on this because the factory powertrain calibration is HORRIBLE on this Jeep. The stumbling, clunking, bipolar engine RPM, can't make up its mind transmission, all of it is horrible. Jeep should be...
I don't see how that relates. Regular cab pickups have been on the market for over a hundred years. 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee 392s have been on the market never. Saying that what we've seen year after year in the truck market has dictated what we should do next year is perfect logic, nothing...
100% facts. Every single time I see one of the GM land barges it's operated by a 20-35 year old attractive female with zero kids inside. I don't get it.....
