I too have the Mopar steel bumper on my Sahara. To me it looks better full width and keeps all the parts and bolts in one place so I don't lose them in my garage clutter.
A pass is only required to use the parking area. The trail itself is no charge. If you don't need to park (I never do) then just hop on the slick rock and enjoy.
I did Broken Arrow about a month ago (my 9th trip to BA). The Devils Staircase is purely optional and can be bypassed. Last trip there I lost an exhaust pipe tip so be on the lookout. :)
As a 2019 Sahara 2.0L owner I would not imagine having any other engine. The acceleration is great and my gas milage is much better than my friends 3.6 (although that is always a subjective measurement). Really do enjoy the 2.0.
A big NO to all of those questions. As a 77 year old "Geezer" who still off roads many times a year I resent the fact that I'm seemingly to old to handle a Wrangler.
I took off road training with Nena and her crew. Gotta say, she is quite a Jeep Gal and a wonderful person. My picture to the left was on her training course.
It is an easy install. The wiring harness in the roll bar already should have the connector. As was also stated, when the jeep is off the control will not work for the security of folks that have a soft top.
The only issue I have had with any of them is rude sales people at 4WP whose attitude is you're lucky they deem even talk to you and Quadratec who love you for 5 star reviews but one star reviews will never make it to their website.
