Hey, your neighbour has a Jeep too !!! LolFor everyone that was asking about the Topliftpro taking the top off, here a video I made on it
I got that one the Lange from Extreme Terrain... I asked them before I ordered it, if it would work on my JLU since it has that lip on the back.... they assured me it does.. I get it delivered tomorrow... I’ll post again w updates.Which hoist did you get? I keep hoping Lange will come out with a bracket for the JL.
Oh they are really light... compared to the JK they weight nothing... and now with a built in handle under the inside of the door... even easier to manouver...How light were those doors. Got a bad back and looking forward to lifting off lighter doors
Nice! Something to look forward to! Just got home with the new JL. My wife hates it. She loved my JKU and is bitter.Oh they are really light... compared to the JK they weight nothing... and now with a built in handle under the inside of the door... even easier to manouver...
Ahhh yeah my wife thought she hated the JLU before she even got in it... until she sat in it a rode around on the test drive... w the freedom panels off.. after that.. haha she loves it!!! And living in FL going to the beach is way more fun...Nice! Something to look forward to! Just got home with the new JL. My wife hates it. She loved my JKU and is bitter.
Wow, that is surprisingly different than their previous shades! No more bungee balls, but I like those knobs it attaches toJLKini install
Installed the JLKini ...couldn’t find anything online, so here’s a few rough instructions with some pics ....
Unscrewed the 4 bolts and leaned the windshield forward a little
Installed the provided silver “nubs” on the side of the roll bars. The one over the back seat goes on the SECOND screw back
Tuck the back corner loops over the top of the sound bar, reach over the top of the sound bar from behind while sitting in the back seat, pull bungee loops through and hook around back silver nub.
Hook the bungees on the side roll bar nubs
Hook front bungees to inner windshield fram with attached bungee hooks
Put windshield back to normal position, put screws back in![]()
I'm also kinda curious about the Toplift Pro.How was the install on the hotheadliners? I’m getting ready to order my Jeep, but debating on oem vs HHliners. Also looking at getting the top lift pro. Have you taken the top off with it yet and is it as convenient as the video makes it look?
