I had the same situation. Apparently that only effects Jeeps w leather seats, from memory. That strip is only exposed with specific seat options - not all have that bare. I hated it as it went from Armorlite on Cargo Dog to bare paint to carpet. I wanted something cleaner and more functional. With my dog in the back I can use a leaf blower to blow out most of the dog hair vs it sticking like crazy to carpet!

I bought the Armorlite 'cargo set' to match my Cargo Dog w the Armorlite tops. Here's a link to product:

Correct, you can swap seats back in. And you have the option for 60% in (one seat + center), 40%, or all in. Website says its easy, but I've never done it as I don't need the seats.

Let me know if you have any issues with your aux tank. I have the same in my 18' JLU. I get the check engine light due to an a leak in the fuel system. At least that is what they told me when I had them check it out after install. I went from North Alabama to Vicksburg, MS to Dallas, TX to Crestview, FL back to north Alabama. Then one day the light popped on the screen. They did several smoke tests and stated no leaks. Cleared. Got it back. A few days later it popped back up on the display. Ran it out & filled it up. Parked it for about a week while I drove the 98' TJ. Cranked it up. No check engine light. Came back a few days later. Occasionally when I fill up and let it sit, the light goes out, but eventually comes back.

I would love to see a list of all of the mods/parts have added, and I'm sure others would be interested in what parts you used for adding to their own rigs.

It looks like you added Baja Designs LP9 lights to your Mopar Triple Hoop grille guard. I have been thinking about adding either LP6 or LP9 lights. I am also debating whether to put on the grille guard (does that affect air flow/cooling), or on the bumper under the grille guard (in this case, I think LP9 is too large?). What influenced your choices on this? Where did you run the wiring to keep it hidden and protected?

Who did your install?

Good to know and will keep an eye on it. I've filled it up and transferred over 2-3 times (partial tank) and so far no issues but keeping a close eye on it.

Shop is Freedom Forged 4x4 in North Aurora, IL. I selected them as they had done a 392 before which is more complex as you need to cut out and fab a new midsection of exhaust to route around LRA tank.

Good point - I haven't compiled everything into one story to keep updated. If you look at bottom of page under 'Similar threads' you'll see most of my journey. At some point I'll compile into one place.

I wouldn't think the grill guard itself is enough to cause any cooling issues - it is an OEM part. You are correct - LP9 would not fit between top of bumper and bottom of guard. I'll look it up - its essentially a coated metal loop with a mount for light and screws to hold together. Works very well though!
