Jeep Wrangler JL Tire size on a stock sport? IMG_6805

I’ve had this for about 3 weeks now and added sway bar disconnects and rubicon rock rails. The list is long on what I want to do.
Not sure I want to add a lift just yet like I did with my gladiator- having said that, what size tires are folks stuffing under the flairs on a stock sport without a lot or rubbing? 285s? 275s?
I know folks are 50/50 on spacers - I ran 1.5 inch on my gladiator for over 30k miles and never had an issue. Was thinking of doing the same on this one.

285/70/17 happens to be the stock rubicon size, and people are constantly selling takeoffs, I'd look to pick up a set of those, get the tires and a better set of rims for usually less then the cost of the tires alone.

I drove on 35's for month before a 1.5" lift was installed. It was fine

There ya go! Hopefully you two are close. I will have a set for sale soon but I'm in Ohio and only 4 plus a Steelie, since they are coming off the JT.
