Any recommendations (or cautions) about dealer service in the San Fernando Valley / Ventura County area? (I need the clutch recall work done).

I think @Maverick909 and @SadRobot have both had clutch work done. SadRobot is in the LA area if memory serves me, she might have some insight on that. It seems like some people are buying aftermarket like ACT and having the dealer do it under warranty.

I’ve had the dealer clutch installed via the recall. The worst problem is the dealers cannot change gear and tire ratios with the mopar software. Only if you have none stock setup

I took mine to a shop to get the ACT installed. I didn't want to deal with the issues with the software update.

Thanks! My suspension and tires are stock JLUR so I'm probably ok. I'm not pleased with the hometown CDJR service, even though it was just warranty work. They didn't bother to answer my VM about recall work, so I took that as a sign.
