We just completed the Badge of Honor run across Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas and what an EPIC trip it was!
We started in the Ozarks Country in Seymour Missouri and joined the Jeep Jamboree event there to claim our 3 Badges of Honor. We spent two full 8-hour days crawling the forest at the Southern Missouri Off-Road Ranch (SMORR) and it was tons of fun.
From there we traveled north to Kansas Rock Recreational Park and conquered the two short trails there. It was wet and extremely muddy but we got through it and picked up two more badges.
Onward we went to Arkansas and spent two nights at the Arkansas Hot Springs ORV Park. Fortunately, they didn’t get much rain and we were able to conquer the four Badge of Honor trails there with “relative” ease.
I do have to say that as much as I love my Gladiator, I would not own one on the East Coast. Forest trails are extremely narrow with many sharp turns surrounded by trees and branches that can cause some serious body damage quickly if not careful. Two of the Gladiators on the trip including mine lost mirrors and rear taillights + two windshields enroute. A small price to pay for an AWESOME ADVENTURE.
Overall, we spent two weeks on this trip and drove a total 3,584.4 miles. Yes, Jeep people are crazy!
If you regret missing out, don’t worry. We already have plans to do another Adventure in April of 2025 across Texas to earn 3 Badges of Honor there + a Jeep Jamboree trip in Palo Duro Canyon.
