Well...I guess my costume yesterday wasn't a hit with everyone at work. I got visited by our HR lady first thing this morning to tell me that my costume was not "work appropriate" and that while she hadn't gotten any complaints about it...she knew that she would. WTH is this world coming to??

Sorry...have to vent or I will explode with the stupidity all around me...

Yah.... If she hasn't gotten any complaints then it should all be good right? Now if you had "pimp slapped" another coworker or referred to female coworkers as your "Hos" then I would get it, but if not, then Mrs HR should calm down.

Ever hear "Dance with the one that brung ya"? We don't quite put it like that in my part of Iowa, but the thought is still there. Screwing somebody you know over so you can save a few bucks is looked down on. "it's not personal. just business" isn't a phrase you hear.

I had HR come up to me last night (I'm 3rd shift).
Just not for something I did. About some pics that are apparently circulating, and them asking if I want to get the law involved to press charges.
I declined.

Yes, I am. My funding vanished (emergency expenses) over the past month though, so I'll be trying to replenish resources until the Louisville Auto Show in January.
I'm from Kentucky. Just to the right if the middle of nowhere. About a mile past the sticks. I work in Louisville, 3rd shift, at UPS Worldport.
I used to own a 79 cj5, and a 97 zj Laredo. Currently own an 07 ford edge, and a 76 Yamaha xs 500.
I am of celtic, and native American decent. (Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Navajo, Blackfoot, cherokee) with a few other odds n ends mixed in.
I usually wear kilts, and only wear shoes and shirts when necessary.
I have autism spectrum disorder. Which is commonly known as aspergers. So, I may miss sarcasm/jokes. I'm getting better at it. Just not 100% yet.

I definitely was not doing that!!! That would be "harassment".
