Theres a lot of that already in place. There was a big solar farm just off base in 29 Palms, then a big wind farm down in Palm Springs. Theres also a Nuclear plant in Pendleton, and the Hoover Dam that provide a ton of power to SoCal. I'm not even sure if there's a coal plant around at all.

The nuclear plant was closed down... there's spent fuel there so it's still guarded.

I had one single trick or treater last night. One little boy dressed as a Ninja and his dad was Bon Jovi. The rain kept all of the other kids at bay.
The church down the street where my wife works moved their Trunk or Treat inside of their gym, and it was PACKED!
