Supplier I'm visiting today made a conference table out of a nearly antique wooden biplane wing. Definitely like classic repurposed transportation artifacts

So Good Morning everyone! The weather on Sunday Morning was pretty dismal...

I did all right for the 10K run, and the rain only really picked up for the last mile of my run. Unfortunately for my wife, running the full Marathon, that didn't help her at all. She missed the last cutoff time by a few seconds and DNF.

It took nearly 20 minutes after the official start of the race for her to even get to the start line, (trying to cram 40,000 runners through one starting gate) so she thinks that was the biggest contributor to the cutoff, and she would have finished the whole thing if she had made it out of the gate earlier.

Always hated starting races that far back in the pack. I definitely feel her angst in this situation.

All that training to be denied by delayed start.

It was very frustrating for sure! I guess that's what happens when you line up in your actual expected finish time corral...

Hopefully next year will go better for us.
