Okay,
I know i dont post much on here, I usually am skimming the garages for builds because i like and getting ideas for future mods. Im currently having a difficult time deciding what kind of system to put in the wifes JLU Sahara.
Im an SPL guy, I have a side cash business building Subwoofer boxes and wiring, anything from small SQ stuff to BIG SPL Walls. Ive been seriously considering doing a build that replicated JL Audios Stealth Boxes, But Making them ported. Im NOT gonna put a huge speaker box in the cargo area, Because we use the Jeep religiously for camping and wheeling.
My question(s) for you guys are, Do any of you OWN one or two of the current stealth boxes? If you do, How do you like them? Do any of you have a custom setup that delivers great Bass Output???
Keep in mind, When i say "GREAT BASS OUTPUT" im mean LOUD. My Current system in my Scion is (2)18's in a cpillar wall off a DC audio 9K, Doing very close to 156 db on the meter.
I know 99% of you are Purists as far as making a jeep capable and offroad worthy, But im trying to find a good balance where im happy as far as output, but still have space for my gear when i hit the trails.
So if you have a worthy setup ID LOVE to see some pics and hear your input.
Should i just go the get what fits route? Or Should attempt to make this thing the best of both worlds???
