@cedxc2005 How did you do the two-into-one connection from the Mopar lights wires to the aux switch wire? From the pictures it looks like you might've soldered then shrink-wrapped.

We used a crimp-butt connector. Two LED + leads in one end, Aux 3 into the other. Heat shrink wrap was for good measure.@cedxc2005 How did you do the two-into-one connection from the Mopar lights wires to the aux switch wire? lol, well theres a good bit that live in Hawaii too.'cept don't they live in Samoa?
And they are rather large folks. Solar eclipse happens when one walks by you.lol, well theres a good bit that live in Hawaii too.

10 minute drive to one of the States major Metropolitan areas? I know it ain't NYC but come on....to a remote location, utilities...
Did you guys ever determine the gauge of the 15amp aux wires? Found one post on JLWF that says 14awg. The Mopar lights wiring is 16awg, twisted together forms a 13awg, so I'm assuming you used a blue butt connector? We used a crimp-butt connector. Two LED + leads in one end, Aux 3 into the other. I bet they are more like 16 since I used red ring terminals on mine.Did you guys ever determine the gauge of the 15amp aux wires? Found one post on JLWF that says 14awg. The Mopar lights wiring is 16awg, twisted together forms a 13awg, so I'm assuming you used a blue butt connector?
Maybe, the post I found...the guy was off on the 40amp wire gauge. He said 8, my wire stripper said 10. The 15amp aux wires are very thin. Thinner than some 18awg wire I bought at the auto parts store, but it has very thick insulation.I bet they are more like 16 since I used red ring terminals on mine.
They could actually be 22, hence the use of red since it's 16 to 22.Maybe, the post I found...the guy was off on the 40amp wire gauge. He said 8, my wire stripper said 10. So yeah, the 15 amp wire gauge is either 14 or 16.
You of all people should know how much it costs to run power to a plot of land, no? How much to run domestic 120V split-phase service 1000 feet?10 minute drive to one of the States major Metropolitan areas? I know it ain't NYC but come on....
Yep, pretty sure it was blue. 16AWG sounds right. They were right at the end of OB's fancy wire strippers.Did you guys ever determine the gauge of the 15amp aux wires? 22 wouldn't be appropriate for a 15amp 12v circuit. They could actually be 22, hence the use of red since it's 16 to 22.
