I really don't know for sure, sir. I went with the X20 10K from Smitty cuz it was on sale. Seems to work just fine so far. Love the wireless remote too. I can only go on my gut feel, but seems like you pay a bit more premium to have the W. Maybe they have better guts, I just don't know.
I had the X20 on my last Jeep and it did just fine. I never had to pull tough calls, but for shrubbery and the odd get out of mud free it never disappointed.

This time I threw money at the "Warn!"

Well, I'm not going to say it's better yet because I've not gotten to use it. Still, it's purdy.

From all accounts though, it'll be a faster and a more reliable pull. Time will tell.

I guess Uncle Ben has to open up the skewl again. Mr Dan, there is a marked difference between wench and winch. This wench, while an extremely handsome addition to any Jeep, will not be able to pull 10K. I'd rather have a wench too, but it was easier to get a winch.

Class dismissed.
I disagree.

This wench is clearly quality product. Note the flowing red highlights and pointed digits. Every effort was to ensure attention to detail. Clearly this wench was for the discerning consumer.

The worth is in the value, not the ease at which you may procure a product.
