Oh we were past the bleaching stage. Even Draino didn't penetrate the gunk on the tub floor. Those erasers are pretty awesome.

I'm also realizing that I am adulting hard now, singing the praises of various cleaning supplies.

Yeah, he's going to ride with me on Sunday. A bit of alcohol-assisted conversation last Thanksgiving got him to give it a shot after his bragging about his spin classes. He hasn't been on a bicycle in over 25 years. Saturday, he's picking up his rental, and we're riding around Manhattan. Sunday, we're doing 40 miles.

Right now, it looks like a WET 40 miles.

Today is one of those facepalm days, apparently.

First, I spend 2 hours on client calls banging my head against the desk as I hear our team make themselves look (like?) uncoordinated jack*sses because nobody thought of going through agenda for the meeting ahead of time and asking whether some issues could be resolved internally. Result? Our team was shot down by client pointing out that issues raised are internal to us.
EDIT: I'm on these calls in "advisory role" now, so I can't be driving the calls anymore.

Then I get pinged by a friend: "hey, want to do some carpentry one of these weekends? I got _____ that I want to build" - mhmm... I've been working on kitchen remodel pretty much every night and weekend for the last few months, and my kitchen is in.. shall we call it "disassembled" state? So, no, as much as I'd like to help, I am kinda up to my ears in carpentry.
