That is a coin holder/organizer I bought on eBAY or Amazon, years ago. You can still easily find them.

I have the coin organizer held in place, in the stock top console tray with industrial strength Velcro. Thanks to the Velcro, I can open the compartment lid and the coin holder/organizer stays in place. IF, I need it free, I just pull it and it frees from the Vecro's grip.

Initiated "Summer Jeep Mode" (aka SJM), to include:

• Soft top side and rear windows removed and cleaned, packed away in a homemade mirco-fiber towel/grommet/para cord storage system--Check
• Soft top off, including brackets (fun one man job, but I was up for it)--Check
• Soft top cleaned, put in storage. Hardware and brackets in a big ol' zip lock (I'm notorious for losing hardware--but not this time!)--Check
• Doors off, cleaned and stored--Check
• Door surrounds removed and stored--Check
• Safari mirrors mounted and tightened down in door hinge brackets--Check
• Trail cover installed and adjusted--Check

Now, I just need Mother Nature to follow through with her part. Here in Kentucky, SJM is a good way to initiate a 15"+ snow fall (Mother Nature can be spiteful at times, that's for sure).

What did I do TO my Jeep today? I partially removed the center console in my new Jeep...

Let me first start by telling you, my wife borrowed my Jeep for a few days while I was out of town... She calls me the other day and tells me she dropped the key fob down between the passenger seat and the console. You know, the notorious blackhole area? Well, the key fob then fell underneath the console through a small opening (small enough for a fob to fit through). Now she can't lock the door because she can't get to the fob. So, my Jeep sat in her work parking lot all day, unlocked, and with the fob within starting distance.

I got home today and took off the back two bolts of the console. I had to put some duct tape on the end of a retractable magnet tool and grab the fob. I got it out fairly easily.
