So, the report on dad is great, with a caveat. Dad’s results show that his tumors are gone-Yea. However, the doctor warned that this is small cell and it likes to reappear. So, he is most likely going to have low dose radiation on his brain because small cell likes to go there. I am in agreement with this plan. My NH bestie wishes she had that, instead she ended up with over 30 tumors on her brain, including her brain stem. Cancer sucks-no way about it. Thanks for always being supportive

Yeah I think that's why they are closing down that GMC plant in I think Ohio(but not sure), because few people are wanting 4 door sedans right now. Gas is cheap so SUV's and pickups are selling like hotcakes.

I understand the desire to have a multi-use vehicle, but since trucks are being treated as such, an unusable 5 foot bed is the norm, and sensible, economical passenger cars are going the way of the dodo.

Well they eventually put the 6.5 foot bed on the Crew Cab Ram 1500, but that wasn't around when I was looking at trucks.

Of note, shortly before I got the Jeep, I test Drove a Ram 2500 Crew Cab, 6 speed manual, Diesel Engine, 8 foot bed and still got 24ish MPG on my test drive... the only thing that stopped me was the price tag.

I think the downfall of the midsize sedan has been the smaller crossovers that are just as efficient. The Escape, the CR-V, the Cherokee all vastly outsell their equivalent midsize sedan. When we got the Accord, our salesman was saying they couldn't keep up with the demand for CR-Vs and would pretty much sell them right after they were taken off the truck.
