Is the soft top easy to open and close with the shade on?
The Sunrider is not as simple to open and close with the sunshade installed. However, it only requires minimal effort to undo the 2 latches. To open the SR, you have 2 options . . . While seated, you can reach out the driver's side window and open the top or you can open it from the driver's side door sill while standing.

Installed Inspired Engineering Revolver A Pillar Amber Lights. I wanted to match the round headlights of the Jeep. Threaded the wire behind the firewall. The AUX Switches on the JLU are a fantastic inclusion with the tow package. Set for ignition. It seemed best to have a double fail safe against any battery discharge. Probably just a little paranoia there. The ignition has to be on and Aux 3 has to be engaged. I also like the space it gives between the light and the windshield. It makes for washing the Jeep a little easier. And they are small enough that I'm not looking through or around them as I drive.

Not my rig- I'm just about done with my JLUR for now but helped my friend go from the first image to the last 2 images over the past 48 hours.
You're a good man... I hope your friend reciprocates!

He gets to pick me up from Jeep dealership and keep me company for 3 hours next Friday while dealership tries to fix death wobble with 4th visit. New control arms, dampener and track bar going on - if that's not the fix I'm officially done and will live vicariously through his rig.

Put on pixeldecals visor stickers over the safety stickers.
Installed reverse lights on top of bumper and wired to Aux 4 switch. Fourth picture is stock reverse lights, fifth stock plus new lights. They are $16 LED lights I had off another vehicle.

Honestly - I think this Jeep is just cursed. It’s my 4th wrangler, 3rd rubicon and never had a problem with any of them until now. Even small stupid things bug the hell out of me:

- safelite guy scuffed frame of window when replacing windshield, now needs repaint or blending of some kind

- scuff on rear bumper from parking even though I pay $550 a month for parking and tip at holiday

- windshield cracked again

- big chunk of paint taken out of door hinge from rock or something on road on passenger side

For $550 per month you should get a fully heated and air conditioned garage all to yourself.

I wish - my friend had a Ferrari he kept in the city and paid $1k a month for parking as exotics have higher rates to make sure they’re taken care of and his whole door was destroyed over that time. Ferrari tried charging him $15K.

I wish I had a space to myself at $550 a month - guys move cars in and out as needed. Even then, the garage I use after 10 years in the city are the best I’ve ever encountered - actually care about the cars and are on point.

You must make a couple of million dollars in NYC. That's what I hear you have to earn to own a vehicle there.

I wish I made a few million! Honestly having a car in the city really just depends on situation - at 22 when I was single out of college having a car was unimaginable. I’m turning 34, married with a 1 year old so having a car becomes more of a necessity - and the $550 a month for parking and jeep itself sounds like a lot but we don’t have certain expenses like lawn maintenance, house repairs, etc.

Me either, landlord does it all, I just give him a little something each month for his trouble. He calls it rent.
