Very easy, no tools, did it in two minutes. Fold it to up. Then from behind there are two bars on the bottom. Squeeze the bars together to unlock, then slide seat off two hooks and it is loose. Then maneuver it out of the back of the Jeep.
That is good to learn, thank you!

Does your 3.8 smoke bad too??
No smoke. My 3.8 runs fine at 137k miles. It does use about a qrt every 1k miles. My Jeep came with a factory standard lifetime powertrain warranty so I’m set for life with my Jeep. Never selling it. Love the 3.6’s and Turbo’s though they are of course better, but man these 3.8’s are easy to work on. JL’s rock. You folks all bought really great Jeeps. Enjoy!

What'd you get from Rigid?
One of my favorites. Not cheap, but definitely top quality all the way around.

3" D Series Pro spot cubes. A pair on my cowl bracket and a pair on front bumper slightly angled out towards ditches to supplement headlights and driving/flood light bar on my grille guard. Was going with same Quadratec lights that were $50 a pair cheaper but dealer gave me a $50 Amazon card yesterday so I went with the Rigid.

What is the side light?
It is an LED combo spot/flood light so I have lighting on 5 sides (haven't needed light pointing straight up but might some day). Can't remember what brand they are.

Installed Raider Rack, and two Molle bags. I tried two mounts, the Molle bag mounts (left) look much better, than D ring mounts (right). Contacting raiderrack.com now to see about getting more Molle bag mounts. I like this better than using zip ties or the fold down table. They delivered very fast and have other racks for the vertical areas as well.

Which dead pedal do you go with? Was it as difficult to install the the MORE version that I've read about on this forum?

I got this one:

It's easy to put on so long as you have right bolt to hook it onto. There is a screw to which you can bolt this thing-you can either undo the existing bolt or add the pedal to it and then put on a new bolt. I put on a new bolt -tho I don't know what size it is since I had some bolts in my toolbox and used one of them that fit.

The trouble is that there is no instruction and so you have to experiment with the two articulated parts to figure out which will work best for you. For me, it worked by putting everything on the highest option. I hope this helps.
