Doing good! Just got in from ordering the wheels and tires, and getting some floor mats (just cheapy for now)
Definitely still surreal that the bright green Jeep sitting outside is actually mine

So, which tires have good traction in snow, ice, and slippery paved roads?

This is the type of tire you want for Ice I believe. These are Goodyear UltraGrip Ice. Not an all terrain tire, nor all season. Just a pure winter tire.

Duratrac tires are winter rated, but probably nowhere near as good on the ice, but look like they'll climb mountains.

No beating the dedicated snow tires for winter driving that's for sure.

Love my Jeep, but the Subaru will still spin circles around it on snowy/icy roads. Well up to about a foot or more of snow anyway. :cwl:

I had a set of DT when then first came out, the sales guy didn’t even know what I was talking about when I asked for them lol but after about a year the performance dropped like crazy in the wintertime. First winter they worried well, second winter I got stuck in my driveway 3 times hahaha
That was their first run so I don’t know if they improved since then, do know they don’t hold up to mileage on a heavier vehicle like a 3/4 ton
